MS-13 GANG MEMBER SENTENCED TO 52 YEARS IN PRISON

Yeison Chavez Campos, a 23-year-old MS-13 gang member from Huntington Station, was sentenced to 52 years in prison for a brutal January 2024 attack on a 15-year-old. The assault involved kidnapping, severe beating, stabbing, and an attempt to bury the victim alive at the Pilgrim Psychiatric Center. The victim survived after suffering serious injuries requiring surgery. Chavez Campos was convicted of multiple charges, including gang assault and kidnapping, and faces deportation after serving his sentence.
