A 15-year-old boy from Amityville has been indicted for allegedly shooting two people at a pool in a Central Islip apartment complex in June 2025. The incident involved a fight between teenagers, after which the defendant reportedly fired at least 10 rounds, hitting two victims. He fled the scene but was arrested in August 2025.
