A 48-year-old man from Wyandanch was convicted by a jury of multiple charges related to sexually abusing his 12-year-old daughter between ages 12 and 14. The abuse began in 2022 after she moved in with him and continued until April 2024, when she confided in someone about it. The man was arrested on April 29, 2024, and on October 30, 2025, he was found guilty of several serious charges, including sexual conduct against a child, criminal sexual acts, rape, and endangering the welfare of a child. He faces up to 50 years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing on December 3, 2025. The case was prosecuted by Suffolk County authorities, with the investigation carried out by the Suffolk County Police Department.
