Thank you to Monica R. Martinez for sponsoring this important bill (S683A) that allows for a 50% reduction in property taxes for the spouses of police officers killed in the line of duty.
These heroes deserve to never be forgotten and their families deserve to have the burden of losing their loving spouse and provider eased.
We thank all who voted to pass this bill and Governor Kathy Hochul for supporting it.
