Nine members and associates of the Lowndes Block Gang, a violent gang linked to Huntington Station, have been indicted on 53 charges, including two murders, multiple shootings, weapons possession, and sex trafficking used to fund the gang. The investigation uncovered extensive violence dating back to 2016, with key incidents such as the 2021 murder of Luis Cameron Rimmer-Hernandez, ordered by gang leader Marques Scott, who allegedly coordinated murders, shootings, and a sex trafficking operation. Several defendants face serious charges, including murder, conspiracy, and attempted murder, with some remanded or held on high bail. The case highlights ongoing efforts to combat gang violence and protect communities in Suffolk County.
