HOME HEALTH AIDE INDICTED FOR ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF AN INCOMPETENT CHILD

Bruno Valenzuela, a 34-year-old home health aide from Brentwood, was indicted for abusing a five-year-old child with disabilities by forcefully slapping and rough handling him. The abuse was captured on camera by the child's family, who noticed bruises and marks afterward. Valenzuela faces charges of endangering the welfare of an incompetent/physically disabled person and a child, and is scheduled to appear in court on March 5, 2026. He has been ordered to be on supervised release with GPS monitoring.
