Hero Officer Is Released From Stony Brook.

The Suffolk Police Benevolent Association is honored to join Suffolk leaders and our fellow officers in welcoming Officer Michael LaFauci as he was released from Stony Brook University Hospital earlier today.
Officer LaFauci, who was shot in the line of duty last week, was released around 11 am to continue his recovery from home.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated medical professionals at Stony Brook for their unwavering support, as their efforts played a crucial role in saving his life.
While we await justice against the criminal responsible for this heinous act, we remain cautiously optimistic about Officer LaFauci's recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his loved ones during this challenging time. He has our full support, and we look forward to welcoming him back to the force!
