In Mt. Sinai, two paddle boarders were rescued by officers in the SCPD Marine Bureau in the Long Island Sound. A call was received that they could not return to shore due to strong tides, prompting police officers Chris Defeo and Timothy Dillon aboard Marine Delta to find their location with assistance from the SCPD Aviation Unit and pull them to safety. Luckily, the two were not injured. Thank you to Officers Defeo & Dillon for their heroic actions!
