This past Saturday marked the 20th anniversary of the tragic loss of Suffolk County Police Officer Edwin Hernandez, who was killed in the line of duty. Officer Hernandez served nearly two decades with the Suffolk County Police Department, and his sacrifice will always be remembered by his fellow officers, the law enforcement community, and the residents of Suffolk. Our thoughts are with his loved ones on this solemn day.
