Each-and-every-day of 2020, our Suffolk County Police Officers displayed why they are among the finest law enforcement officers on the globe. In the face of danger and uncertainty, our members reported for duty and routinely put themselves and their families' safety on the line for the wellbeing of others. Their service and sacrifice -- and the sacrifices of so many other front-line workers -- is worthy of celebration. While we all ring in 2021, in the hopes of a healthier, safer, and more peaceful year, Suffolk residents can rest assured that our police will stop at nothing to keep our community safe -- next year and beyond. Our heartfelt remembrance is extended to those we lost this year.
