Excellent work by Highway Patrol Officers Bunger and Siesto, Fifth Precinct Officer Reyes, & Highway Patrol Sergeant Carey who, over the weekend, responded to a call for a woman in labor on the shoulder of the LIE. When officers arrived, they found the expectant mother in the backseat, with her husband, and with the assistance of Brentwood Legion Ambulance, they were able to safely deliver the baby. The mother and her baby were transported to a local hospital in good condition. Again, great work by these Officers and EMTs
