Sergeant Timothy J. Henck was 30 years old and a 9-year veteran when he was killed in the performance of his duty in 1995. Tim left behind his wife, Kathleen and their 6-week-old daughter, Jennifer. The man responsible, Arthur Adinolfi, Department Identification Number (DIN) 96A4871, was 37 years old and a career criminal. He was convicted of Murder 2 and sentenced to life in prison. Adinolfi was given an early parole hearing on June 16, 2020, again in November of 2020, and again last August. And now he is up for parole once again.
Thanks to the tremendous showing of opposition, as a direct result of our previous campaigns, he has been kept in prison. This process continues to be terribly traumatic for Kathy Henck and their family to have to go through this once again.
Our website, SuffolkSOA.com has the Sgt Timothy J. Henck page activated, which will provide additional information as well as letters of opposition that you can print or sign.
You can also submit your opposition electronically in less than 2 minutes. Please visit https://doccs.ny.gov/form/letters-in-support-or-opposition, fill in the required information (provided below) and click submit.
