R.I.P. Deputy Sheriff Bill Butler

The Suffolk County PBA extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Deputy Sheriff Bill Butler of the Hillsdale County Sheriff's Office. Deputy Butler was shot and killed while assisting another deputy with a traffic stop yesterday. His bravery and dedication to protecting his community will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
